I didn't plan this one at all.. it's one of those paintings that just painted itself. I love the Autumn season and especially those days that are filled with colorful leaves and warm sun. I really love this painting with the red leaves falling like a veil around slender Aspen trees. I had a dream about these colors and couldn't sleep until I painted this. "Twilight Aspen" is another aspen tree painting I made using acrylic paints. I wanted to see what this type of painting would look like on a vertical canvas and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I have plans to keep experimenting with Birch trees and different colors.
