Warm Autumn Day

I didn't plan this one at all.. it's one of those paintings that just painted itself. I love the Autumn season and especially those days that are filled with colorful leaves and warm sun. This is painted with acrylic paints on a 14x11 gallery wrapped canvas. It is available for purchase in my online Etsy shop. There are also more close-up views of the painting there.

Aspen Passion

I really love this painting with the red leaves falling like a veil around slender Aspen trees. I had a dream about these colors and couldn't sleep until I painted this. Aspen Passion is painted with acrylic paints on an archival canvas board measuring 6"x6" It's really a beautiful little painting. It is currently available for purchase in my online Etsy shop. Woodland Tree

This painting is also inspired by Artist/Teacher Tim Gagnon. It is another red tree standing with independence in a misty woodland forest. The red leaves on this painting also symbolize passion and are heavily textured. This is painted with acrylic paints on a 14x11 gallery wrapped canvas and is available for purchase in my Etsy shop. If you would like a closer view of the painting click here.

Heart of the Forest - Red Tree

I discovered this style of painting from Artist/Teacher Tim Gagnon. This painting shows a dark red tree (symbolizing passion or having a passionate heart) surrounded by a misty forest background with glowing fairies at the base of the trees. I also added a few cattails in the foreground as I've always associated cattails with mystery and magic. I've had people tell me they get an ethereal feeling from this painting.  It is made with acrylic paints on a 14x11 gallery wrapped canvas. The painting is currently for sale in my Etsy shop.
